Setting up an unexpected answers allows your team to be notified if something that is unforeseen is recorded. For example, if a question asks whether equipment needs repair, a "yes" response could trigger a notification.
How To Set Up An Unexpected Answer
From the Designer step in the form builder, click on the question that you would like to set up an expected answer for. Then on the left hand side bar menu, scroll down and click on Set Correct Answer
You'll then need to select the answers that are "correct", any answers not selected here will be set as an unexpected answer.
Once you've finished setting up all your unexpected answers for the questions on your form, click on PUBLISH to save the changes and make them live.
How To Set Up Notifications
From the Triggers & Alerts step in the form builder, scroll down to Notification Settings > When Unexpected Answers Received. From here, there are a few options to select from:
No notifications: Does not send out any notifications
Daily summary: The following morning, sends a summary of all form submissions that contain an unexpected answer from the previous day
Every unexpected answer received: Sends a real-time notification for every form submission that contains an unexpected answer
You'll also be required to select which team members you'd like to receive the notifcations. Currently only Admins & Managers can be selected.
Finally, select which notification channel you would like to receive the notification:
Push: A notification sent to the Workyard mobile app
Email: An email notiifcation
