Step 1: Add the Workyard Fields to your form

  1. Navigate to the Form Builder: From the Workyard dashboard, go to the "Smart Forms" section and select "Create"

  2. Select Workyard Fields: From the fields toolbar on the left select and drag the field type into the form

Step 2: Choose a Field Type

  1. Select the Workyard Field question, then Settings select the Field Type. The Field Type options available are:

    1. Projects/Geofences: Displays a list of all active projects

    2. Cost Codes: Displays a list of all active cost codes

    3. Team Members: Displays a list of all active team members

    4. Project Managers: Displays a list of all active managers with project access

Step 3 (Optional): Create Linked Relationships Between Workyard Fields

Some Workyard Fields can be linked, meaning the options available in one field may depend on the selections made in another field. For instance, you may want to limit the list of cost codes available based on what project is selected.

How to Set Up a Linked Field

  1. Start by creating the Workyard field you want to link to. In the example above, a "Project" field has been created first.

  2. Then, create the Workyard field you want to limit options available based on a linked relationship. Select the field type, then under Linked Field select the question you want to link to, to limit options available. In the example above, "Project" is available as it is a Project/Geofence field.
