Card Disputes
What can I dispute?
Unauthorized charges — You didn't make the transaction. This includes charges made on a lost or stolen card or if your card details were compromised.
Authorized charges with an issue — You made the purchase, but something went wrong, such as:
Goods or services were not delivered
You were charged the wrong amount
You were charged more than once for the same transaction
A cancellation wasn't honored
How do I file a card dispute?
Card disputes must be filed directly with Visa by calling:
+1 (833) 852-1519 (or (855) 681-9411 starting June 10, 2026)
Have the following ready when you call:
The transaction amount
The date of the transaction
The merchant name
You can also reach out to our support team and we'll guide you through the process.
Will I get my money back while the dispute is investigated?
For unauthorized charges, you may be eligible for a provisional (temporary) credit to your account while the investigation is underway. This typically happens within 5–10 business days of filing.
For authorized charges with an issue, provisional credit is generally not available — with a few exceptions:
ATM errors where the machine didn't dispense correctly
Transactions under $25
Processing errors like duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
Please note: provisional credit is temporary and subject to the outcome of the investigation. We're unable to guarantee the result of any dispute.
How long does a dispute take?
Investigations typically take several weeks. We'll keep you updated as the status changes. Possible outcomes are:
Won — funds are returned to your account permanently
Lost — the provisional credit (if issued) is reversed
Denied — the transaction is found to be valid and no credit is issued
ACH Disputes (Bank Account Withdrawals)
What can I dispute?
You can dispute a payment that was pulled from your Workyard Business Checking account by a third party if:
You never authorized the withdrawal
You had previously canceled the authorization
The wrong amount was withdrawn
The payment was taken on the wrong date
You were charged more than once
You already paid by another method
Note: If you initiated the payment yourself, it cannot be disputed. ACH disputes also cannot be used for purchase dissatisfaction — if you have an issue with a product or service, you'll need to resolve that directly with the merchant.
How do I file an ACH dispute?
Contact our support team with the transaction amount, date, and the name of the company that withdrew the funds.
We'll send you a Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit Activity form to complete and sign.
Return the signed form to us and we'll submit it on your behalf.
How long does it take?
Once we receive your signed form, your dispute will be reviewed within 10 business days. Possible outcomes are:
The payment is returned to your account
Your account is credited directly
The dispute is denied and the transaction stands
