Contractors in Workyard
When you designate a worker with a "1099 Contractor" pay type in Workyard, this is an indication that this person corresponds to a vendor in QuickBooks Online.
Setting up Contractors in QuickBooks Online
Contractors in QBO are set up as Vendors with the "Track payments for 1099" option checked.
If you do not check this box, the contractor will NOT be available for mapping in Workyard
Importing Contractors from QuickBooks Online to Workyard
When importing contractors from QBO to Workyard, navigate to the Team Members menu and select Import Contractors
Exporting Contractors to QuickBooks Online from Workyard
Contractors' time is exported to QBO in the same way as employees. From the menu, select Reports > Time Report > Export Time and follow the prompts.
