Workyard is a platform that can help you manage projects more efficiently by providing a digital audit trail of all activity on your job sites. This means that you can easily track who was last on a work site, view notes shared by your team, and monitor tasks in real-time.
Here are some of the key features of the activity feed:
Tracking team members as they enter and exit geo-fenced locations
Displaying new notes related to locations or projects from tasks and time cards
Recording completed tasks, done checklist items, and not done checklist items
Each activity is linked to the related project, task, or time card, making it easy for you to navigate to the relevant information.
How to Find the Activity Feed
Go to the projects menu on the web or mobile app.
Click on the Activity Feed button.
The Project Activity feed will open and display all the activities happening on your project.
How to Filter the Activity Feed
A filter button is available within the activity feed with the following categories:
Date Range
Project & Location
Customer
Activities
Geofence Entry and/or Exit
Time Card Notes
Worksite Note
Task Note
Task Completed
Checklist Item Done
Checklist Item Not Done
Team Members
Task Labels
Within each filter category, you can select multiple options and combine categories to get the precise results you're looking for.
By using the activity feed on Workyard, you can stay up-to-date on all the important details of your projects and ensure that everyone on your team is working efficiently and effectively.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
Who in my company can access the project activity feed?
Only Administrators and Managers can access the project activity feed. Managers will only be able to view activities to projects that they have access to.
I can't see the projects menu item or the activity feed option on my mobile app?
You'll need the latest version of the mobile app installed to get access to the latest updates on this feature.
If you are on the latest version, ask your Administrator to check that you are set as either an Administrator or Manager role type to get access.
My feed isn't displaying the latest results?
If left open the activity feed will not update with the latest results. To refresh the feed, close the panel and reopen it, or refresh the page.
Are there any limits on the amount of history that's kept?
No limits! We store every update that happens from the moment you create the project on Workyard. There are also no limits on how far back you can go to find past activity.
If I archive a project will I loose all the activity records?
No you will not. When you archive a project all the activity records associated to the project will be kept and available within the feed.
Some activity records that I could see before are no longer there. What's happened?
If you delete a related project, time card or task then all the connected activities will also be removed from the feed.
