Manually entering employees' hours into your payroll system is a tedious and error-prone task. Workyard simplifies this process by allowing you to seamlessly export your hours to our payroll software with just a single click. By automating the data transfer, Workyard eliminates the need for manual input, saving you time and reducing the risk of errors in your payroll calculations.

Workyard also offers the flexibility to customize the date range and select specific team members for exporting hours, allowing you to process out-of-cycle payroll whenever needed.

How To Export Time Data

To export time data from Workyard, follow these simple steps:

  1. Login to your Workyard account using a desktop computer.

  2. Go to the Timecards page and locate the Export button.

  3. Fill in the required fields for a successful export:

    a. Date Range: Choose between the Pay Period or Custom Range option.

    • Pay Period: Export all hours recorded within a specific pay period.

    • Custom Range: Export hours for a single day or a range of days by specifying your desired period.

    b. Team Members: Use the dropdown menu to select either a single employee or multiple employees.

    • All Team Members: Check this box if you want to export hours for all employees.

    c. Export To: Select the integrated partner where you wish to export the hours. Choose the appropriate option from the provided list.

  4. Once you have completed all the necessary fields, click the Export button to initiate the export process.

Can I run an export more than once?

Yes, you can run an export multiple times as long as your payroll software does not have any limitations.

Can any team member on my account export time data?

No, only Administrators and Managers have the ability to export time data.
