How It Works
The reason "App closed or phone switched off" will appear for iOS phones if the person who is clocked in:
Swipes up on the app to close it down or,
Turns off their phone
In both of these cases the location tracking will stop running while they are clocked in.
How To Resolve
If the app is closed down by swiping up, then we send a push notification to the user to remind them to reopen the app to ensure the time card tracking continues to run.
To ensure this is delivered the Notifications Permission must be switched on for the Workyard app in their phone settings.
