How Workyard's Automated Alerts Help You and Your Team

Workyard's app sends different types of automated notifications in either SMS, Email, or Push Notification form to help you and your team with time and attendance management. Here is a list of all the notifications that Workyard sends.

Clock In Reminder

When a user enters a geo fence and is not clocked in after 2 minutes, they will receive a Push Notification to clock in. This notification is to remind the user to clock in and ensure that accurate time records are maintained.

Take a Rest Break

Users will receive a push notification at the 2 hour mark to take a rest break and 2 hours after first meal break to take another rest break. Note: This feature is enabled by request only.

Take a Lunch Break (CA only)

Users in California will receive a push notification at the 4 hour 30 min mark to take a break. California users will receive an additional push notification at the 9 hour 30 min mark to take 2nd lunch break. These notifications are to ensure that workers take their legally required breaks and to help maintain compliance with labor laws.

Clock Out Reminder

If a user forgets to clock out, they will receive an SMS asking if they have forgotten to clock out at the 12-hour mark. This notification is to remind the user to clock out and ensure that accurate time records are maintained.

Auto Clock Out

Workyard will automatically clock out a user at the 24-hour mark. The user will receive a Push Notification and Email that their time card has been auto-clocked out.
