Workyard offers you the ability to export your time data for team members from Workyard to Sage 300 CRE. Making payroll a breeze!

How It Works

If you want to use Workyard's integrations, the first step is to contact us to let us know that you would like to use the Sage 300 CRE integration. Our team will configure your account to produce the appropriate file format to ensure a successful integration. After your account has been configured, you can proceed with the following steps to complete the process.

Exporting Your Payroll File

  1. Navigate to the Time Cards tab

To begin the process, log in to your Workyard account and navigate to the Reports menu.

  2. Select "Export"

  3. Select the Pay Period, Team Members and "Sage 300 CRE"

Choose the pay period that you would like to export hours for and review the time information for accuracy. Make any necessary adjustments before proceeding.

  4. Click Start Export

Once you have verified the accuracy of the time information, click Start Export to begin the export process.

  5. Export for Sage 300

Click Export under the Sage 300 CRE option. A pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to proceed, then click 'Go to file export'

  6. Workyard File Exporter

A new page called the Workyard File Exporter will open. From here, you'll be asked to enter a Target ID for any employees, projects, or cost codes included in your export. The target ID represents the unique identifier (ID) from your external integration that you would like to map Workyard data to. Entering the Target ID is optional.

    1. In order to map projects and cost codes, you will need to make sure you're exporting a time card where a project has been tagged and a cost code has been selected.

  7. Save Changes

Click on the Save Changes once you have entered the Target IDs. Your Target IDs will be stored and used again on your next export.

  8. Pay Item Codes
You can also enter the pay item codes from Sage 300 for regular, overtime, or double time. Entering payroll codes is optional.

  9. Download File
Once you've completed all your mappings, click the Download File button in the top right-hand corner.

  10. Edit previously Mapped Records
To edit any previously mapped records, click on the Mapped Records button. From here, you can access lists of employees you have previously mapped and make any edits.
