How it helps

Attaching labor to a project helps optimize project execution, maintain control over costs, and ensures accountability across all levels of work. Utilizing cost codes that allow you to track specific costs within categories related to a project, such as labor costs, can help with monitoring expenses.

How it works

To attach your labor to a project using cost codes within Workyard's Project Time View, follow these steps:

Select Project:

In the Project Time View, locate the workers time card and specific project you want to attach your labor to. Click on the 3 dots to the far right followed by the Edit Project Time.

Classify work:

Click on Select Cost Code, which will allow you to select the cost code desired. Then click on save.

Track and submit:

Once your cost code is added, you can track it under the Project Time View.
