How It Works

The time limits help you control the times on the time cards and/or limit the number of hours on a timecard.

Clock In:

If you enter a clock in time, the members assigned to this group will not be able to have a clock in time before that time. For example, if the clock in time is set to 8am and they try to clock in at 7:45am, the time card will read 8am.

Clock Out:

If you enter a clock out time, the members assigned to this group will not be able to have a clock out time after that time. For example, if the clock out time is set to 5pm and they try to clock out at 5:15pm, the time card will read 5pm.

Total hours per time card:

If you enter a total number of hours for a worker here, their time card will not be able to go over that amount of hours for paid work. Unpaid breaks do not affect this setting. If they work over the number of hours that you listed, the time card will be auto-trimmed down to the number of hours listed.

NOTE: Members are still able to press clock in before the clock in time you have set. This will add a pending time card for them. In the logs, you will be able to see the true time as well as the time card time. This also applies for clock out and total number of hours worked. Example:
