For the following systems we can provide an API integrated experience.

  • Intuit QuickBooks Desktop

  • Intuit QuickBooks Online

  • ADP Workforce Now

  • Foundation

  • Oracle Netsuite

  • Sage 100

Step-by-Step Project Import Guide

Step 1) Complete the integration setup steps for your desired integration system.

Step 2) Go to Project Hub > + Projects > Import Projects

Step 3) Select the system you would like to import projects from.

Step 4) Click "Import"

Step 5) You'll then need to map the following fields

Which Projects are included in import:

  • QuickBooks Desktop: Any "Active" customer/project

  • QuickBooks Online: Any "Active" customer/project

  • ADP Workforce Now: Any "Active" project

  • Foundation: Any "Active" project

  • Sage 100: Any "Active" project

Field Explanation:

ACTION

  • Create - Create a project in Workyard.

  • Map - Project already exists in Workyard and needs to be mapped to your integration.

  • Do not Import - This line will not be imported into Workyard.

IMPORT AS

  • Only appears when needing to Map to an existing Workyard project.

GEOFENCED WORK SITES

  • This is the geofence that will be associated with the project once created in Workyard

PROJECT NAME

  • This will be the name of the project in Workyard

CUSTOMER NAME

  • This will be the name of the customer.

  • If you have multiple projects for the same customer, ensure the customer name is identical for each project associated with that customer.

COST CODE

  • All Cost Codes that have been added to Workyard will be applied to all imported projects by default.

  • If you want to see all the cost codes you have in your integrating system, you'll need to first import the cost codes.

Frequently asked questions:

  • How do I just import one project?

    • By searching for the project name in the search bar, it will then populate only that specific project.

  • Can I modify projects in bulk?

    • You can use the check boxes to the right of each project to do actions in bulk.

  • How to view previously "Do not Import" projects?

    • Once a project is ignored you will not see this project again unless you check the box "Display Previously ignored projects"
